Investor Visitation Program To Share Insight Into Vanuatu’s Business Environment

The Vanuatu Investment Promotion Authority (VIPA) has embarked on its first ever Investor Visitation Program.

The activity which falls under its Investment Promotion Division’s facilitation efforts will focus on two key results.

The primary goal for this program is to capture investor success stories, the challenges of doing business in Vanuatu and how they have managed to succeed in their investment endeavors.

These stories will be published on VIPA’s website and on other mediums as well to improve the general public’s understanding and appreciation on our investors.

The other result that VIPA will be obtaining from this program is a data from a survey on key investors from key economic sectors that should enhance dialogue on the challenges surrounding Vanuatu’s business environment and of which the results can be used to push for policy reforms.

The program will be carried out over the end of Quarter 3 and Quarter 4 and will cover both foreign and local investors.

In time and with funding support this program will be eligible to roll out into the other provinces that have Vanuatu’s key investors located in as well.

VIPA thanks the investors and Vanuatu’s business people for their continuous support in working together with the agency.
