Finalized Draft Bill expected to complete soon.

The VIPA/Private Sector PPP group formed to work on the final recommendations for the VIPA draft Bill has been making excellent progress throughout this week.

The working group has now covered 80% of the Bill’s content and is confident to complete well ahead of the time frame.

VCCI had raised various concerns over the draft Bill to the VIPA Management through a consultation held in January.

These concerns are being reviewed and amended where necessary into the Bill.

The working progress between VIPA and the Private Sector has been highly praised by the PPP members and are confident that this will pave way for more collaborations on important policy matters to come in the future.

The current draft Bill review by the PPP is expected to complete by the end of the week.
