One Stop Shop – lighthouse for all visitors

The Tamarama Building that houses the Government’s Investment Service Center was officially opened yesterday by the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Internal Affairs.

In a short ceremony to mark this important occasion Honorable Minister Alfred Maoh reminded the staff of the 4 departments under the Tamara Building their important role in the providing assistance to all foreign visitors to ensure smooth transition into doing business in Vanuatu.

The Honorable DPM, Minister Joe Natuman reminded the staff that Vanuatu’s ranking in the Ease of Doing Business still needed improvement and the services provided under the One Stop Shop must work to improve Vanuatu’s ranking.

He also reminded the departments on the Government’s efforts to remove Vanuatu from the Grey List and therefore key departments of Immigration and VIPA be mindful of the type of investors and visitors we allow into the country.

In the three part program, the Minister’s together opened the Tamarama Building, launched the VTO website and officially opened the Haos blong Handikraf.
