VFIPA North revives operation
We are thrilled to announce that the Vanuatu Foreign Investment Promotion Agency (VFIPA) northern region Office will be reopening its doors on Monday, August 19, 2024. After a year of closure, we are very excited to resume engagement and communication with all foreign investors established in Sanma Province including Penama, Malampa and Torba. Your commitment and contribution towards improving the livelihoods of the citizens in the northern region and other developments did not go unnoticed. Now that the Office will be back in full operation again, under the leadership of Mr. Lee Bruno Tabi, we assure all existing and potential investors that all your queries and specific request for support will be taken care of by Mr. Tabi.
The VFIPA is in the Millennium Building, and you can reach us on our landline at 36608 or by emailing Mr. Lee B. Tabi at [email protected].
With Santo being the hotspot for the “Government’s Economic Corridor Policy “, the resumption of the VFIPA North Office is timely and are looking forward to contributing to this policy initiative. According to recent FDI data, the number of foreign investors who are choosing Santo as their investment location is gradually increasing. For example, in 2024, the number of announced FDIs choosing Santo as their investment location increased 50% compared to the previous year. Given the increasing developments taking place in the province and future development plans, it is not difficult to conclude that inward FDI to Sanma will continue to increase.
To all our key stakeholders whom we believe, we will be working closely, we look forward to an effective and friendly collaboration in promoting and facilitating foreign investments in the northern region.
Please feel free to contact us with any inquiries or concerns or call into the Office anytime. We will always be there and willing to assist you with any queries you have.
