VFIPA waives Annual Survey application fees after TC Kevin and Judy devastation
The Vanuatu Foreign Investment Promotion Agency has waived Annual Survey fees for its clients.
The devastation of the two tropical cyclones that passed over the Vanuatu group earlier this month has left many businesses in a state of rapid recovery and damages as well.
The Government of Vanuatu has declared a State of Emergency for the next six months for recovery efforts that are underway and this will include assessments on Vanuatu's businesses as well.
VFIPA in its efforts to support this recovery progress has issued a fee waiver for its Annual Survey fees for foreign investors who have yet to submit their application forms.
Foreign investors who lodged their applications before the cyclones hit will be eligible to a fee waive in 2024.
VFIPA is proactively engaged with the Ministry of Trades in its recovery efforts to the business community and more updates on what investors and the business community on the whole should see coming from the Government will be sent out to clients in due course.
