Ministry Retreat 2017

Ministry of Trade, Tourism, Commerce and Ni Vanuatu Business (MTTCNB) held its 2017 retreat from 1- 3 February 2016 at Aquana Beach Resort. Many staff who attended claimed this was the first ever grouping of its type to be initiated at the Ministry level to bring together heads of Offices within the MTTCNB.

VIPA signs MOU with China Entrepreneurs Union

December 18, Friday 2016

Vanuatu Investment Promotion Authority (VIPA) represented by its chairman Mr Lionel Kaluat signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with China Entrepreneurs Union, represented by the Union's Deputy President Mr. Peter Zhang. This understanding marks the beginning of a stronger collaboration between the two parties to pursue investment developments in Vanuatu.

VIPA Strengthens Partnership with G8 Consultants

VIPA management signed an MOU with G8 consultant in 2014. In Nov ember 2016, following more developments between the two parties, Mr Peter Chen, G8 Consultants director visited Vanuatu undertaking a more focused visit that saw more concrete agreements reached.

A Memorandum of Understanding signed on 6th May 2016 between the Vanuatu Investment Promotion Authority (VIPA) and the Vanuatu National Provident Fund (VNPF) now enables both entities to update their respective data bases so that future dealings between them will be a simple and consistent.
