New Business Plan template and changes in forms

The VIPA Board of Directors has recently approved changes in the Authority’s application form and processes. This change happened through a review of the Application Forms specifically on FDI data being captured.

Data collected from VIPA’s applications are crucial in formulating policies relating to FDI inflow in Vanuatu therefore the changes that have been made should capture important investor and investment information that will assist VIPA in its decision making.

As a part of this exercise, a new Business Plan template was also designed and will now be used by service providers and new investors in the process of lodging a new foreign investment approval certificate form.

The shift in the application forms and processes, forms and business plans has seen more focus on addressing key Government policies of employment generation and skill retention.

The changes have been effective as of the 2nd of July with further amendments to the Renewal and Variation forms to happen in the following weeks.

Investors and other interested parties can obtain the form and new business plan online.
